LANXESS at the UK Concrete Show 2012, February 22-23, Ricoh Arena, Coventry, United Kingdom
Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is presenting its inorganic pigments for coloring construction materials and the allied technical service packages at the UK Concrete Show, which will take place in Coventry on February 22nd -23rd 2012. “The most important industry show in the United Kingdom is an absolute must for architects, specifiers and producers & distributors of construction materials. Here we will show experts from home and abroad how LANXESS serves the construction sector with customized products and technical expertise for the sustainable coloration of concrete,” says Simon Kentesber, Sales Manager in the Inorganic Pigments business unit of LANXESS Limited.
During the congress taking place at the same time, Kentesber will give a presentation on February 22nd entitled “The use of colored concrete in architecture”. This seminar is an appeal to the trade audience to change concrete's gray and dour image and show how color not only brings esthetic advantages to this important material but also economic and sustainable benefits. With this in mind, Kentesber will demonstrate the possibilities for coloring concrete using state-of-the-art technologies and formulations.
Inorganic pigments from LANXESS display high color strength, are extremely lightfast and weather-resistant and are characterized by their high quality and simple and environmentally-friendly processing. They are available as powders, slurries, free-flowing compact pigments or granules and are used to color construction materials such as cast in-situ concrete, precast concrete components, pavers and asphalt.
The Global Competence Center Construction within the Inorganic Pigments business unit provides technical assistance to customers in all questions of pigment processing and mixing and metering technology.
